Fortson sits in southern Harris County, right where the Columbus commute turns into open country. A lot of the newer homes here run off Whitesville Road and Wooldridge Road, while the GA-315 corridor still has older farmhouses and places on a few acres. That mix means the work varies: a newer subdivision house might need trim carpentry and drywall patching, and an older place on land usually wants deck repair, fence work, or a fresh coat of paint. Rot is the big one. Georgia humidity gets into fascia, soffits, door frames, window trim, and deck framing, and once it starts it spreads to whatever it touches. We cut the bad wood out back to solid material, replace it with the right stock, and prime or seal it so it doesn’t come back at the same spot next year.
