Carpentry: Trim, Doors, Decks, and Cabinets
Good carpentry is measured in the details — tight miters, doors that latch on the first try, railings that don’t move when you grab them. We install and repair baseboards, crown molding, casing, and chair rail. We hang new doors and fix old ones that stick, sag, or won’t latch. We repair decks: rotted boards, loose railings, stairs that flex underfoot. And we handle cabinet work — re-hanging doors, fixing drawers, replacing hardware, installing new units.
A lot of Columbus housing stock is older, and older houses move. Frames go out of square, floors settle, and trim gaps open up. We’ve worked in enough of these homes to know the difference between cosmetic and structural — and we’ll tell you which one you’ve got.
Tile: Floors, Walls, and Backsplashes
Tile is unforgiving. A lazy layout or a rushed set job shows forever. We do kitchen backsplashes, bathroom floors, shower and tub surrounds, and tile repairs — replacing cracked tiles and regrouting joints that have gone dark or crumbly. Straight lines, level surfaces, clean grout. That’s the whole job, and we don’t skip parts of it.
Flooring: Install and Repair
We install laminate, luxury vinyl plank, and hardwood — full rooms or whole floors. Just as often, we’re fixing what’s already down: squeaky boards, soft spots near doorways, buckled planks from a water leak, transitions that never sat right. If you own rental property near Fort Benning/Fort Moore, we can swap out worn flooring between tenants and have the unit ready to show without eating a month of vacancy.
