Ellerslie is one of the older communities in Harris County, with a post office that has been open since the 1820s. Most of it spreads out along the GA-85 corridor and the roads running back from downtown Ellerslie, and you will find everything from country homes on acreage to newer builds put up for folks commuting into Columbus. Homes on land out here take a beating from the weather, so we stay busy with rotted fascia, fence repair, floor replacement, and interior carpentry.
